“Great atmosphere!”

The Future Data Summit 2024 Green AI was a resounding success with about 450 attendees. Record attendance, great speakers and a great setting. Thanks to everyone who participated as a partner and as a guest!

The record number of participants created a close atmosphere, which was generally not considered a problem. According to the feedback survey, the main reason for attending the event was networking with other players in the field. A close second was good seminar content, which, judging by the feedback, was very successful.

On a scale of 1 (poor) to 4 (excellent) the event was rated 3.64. The most praised speakers were Minister of Climate & Enviroment Kai Mykkänen and Mervi Airaksinen, Managing Director of Microsoft Oy.

Suggestions for improvement for next year included larger, more legible name badges and a larger space for the event.
Theme suggestions for next year included European market development, cloud/co-location/on-prem trends, quantum computers, super computing, cybersecurity and hybrid wars. On a scale of 1-10, a significant number of people would recommend the event to a colleague, with a score of 8.97. The main theme of next year’s event will be Data Centers: shaping the future.
